About the Seaford Chamber of Commerce

The Seaford Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1925, for the purpose of encouraging and promoting high ethical and moral business practices for the commercial, civil and social betterment of the Seaford community. The Seaford Chamber of Commerce is made up of business professionals who volunteer their time, energy and resources to support the community, its organizations and the business owners of Seaford.

The Chamber is conducted in a business-like manner with a team of Officers and a Board of Directors elected to their respective positions. In the first week of each month, a Board of Directors meeting is held to discuss issues which are deemed important to the community at large. Monthly General Membership meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. They are designed to bring together the community, provide a forum for identifying key issues affecting businesses and the community, provide educational information and an opportunity to network with other business owners. Businesses are then able introduce the services and or goods they provide to the community.

Strong community relations involving our business districts, schools, civil and social organizations are vital in supporting Seaford. Our programs includes Sponsorship and or/funding for: Seaford High School Student Scholarships, Educational Seminars for Business Owners, Networking events, Annual Egg Hunt at Seamen's Neck Park, Holiday Lighting with Snowflakes on Merrick Rd., Beautification projects, Annual participation at the Seaford Memorial Day Parade where a Wreath is presented in honor of the fallen, President and/or Director's attendance and presentation at Seaford Eagle Scouts Award Ceremonies, Community Watch Dog, and various Community Events.
